Personal Background

While growing up, I experienced life in a variety of Maine communities, as well as New Hampshire, Connecticut and Long Island, NY. Moving is something I became familiar with early in life. After graduating from college, I served as a Volunteer-in-Service- to-America (VISTA) in Austin, Texas for two years before returning to graduate school at Texas Woman's University. Upon receiving my Master of Arts degree, I began a career in design and technology that took me on business to Israel, Germany, Pakistan, Panama and places all across the United States and Canada. Living in Dallas, New York City, and Cambridge in the 1990s helped me recognize the importance of my Maine roots and my desire to return to Maine, permanently. These worldly experiences carved out my sense of value in a place called home and provided me with a deep sense of understanding when it comes to the many impacts of moving.

I have resided in Maine with my husband since 1999 and we currently live in York county with our two children and our Chocolate Lab. Naturally, home buying and selling is important to me and I enjoy the challenges and unique requirements of every home purchase and sale. I pride myself in hard work and problem solving using a balance of creative thinking and common sense. I believe my collective life experiences will benefit my clients throughout my professional real estate career.
